Walkabout allows business users to create their own enquiries and reports, and freely walkabout their database in either text or graphical mode. You get a plain English view of the database - no need to understand data structures or programming. Drill up, down and walk to related data without having to have pre-defined routes.

Being written in Progress, Walkabout can be seamlessly integrated with any Progress application. It can be configured to run either on a central server or on individual PCs. Report definitions and images are stored in a central repository, so all work can be shared between users - subject, of course, to the necessary permissions.

System administration is simplified as maintenance and administration is performed only once and security is maintained centrally.

Both GUI and Character versions are available, deploy either or both.
